Riya re-awakens

Tim_the_mad_scientist_1

What has been going on at Riya? I haven't blogged for months. The site has barely changed. When is the visual search coming?

I believe there is a time to talk and time to work so you have something worth talking about. For the last 5 months we have been heads down reinventing Riya. In many ways it was not unlike the first year of the company. It was exciting and draining at the same time. But now the mad scientist that is the core of our corporate culture is re-emerging. Hopefully with something you all find significant.

We are preparing to launch Riya 2.0 (with a new name) in the coming weeks. Before I get there, I owe many of you the rest of the inside story of Riya from where I left of on May 15th to now. So I will begin there. Tomorrow I will publish episode 6: May 15-May 30 talking about our board meeting where we decided to change direction. Every few days I'll publish another.

Sorry for the long silence ... the creative process was all consuming...

Excellent, cant wait to read your intriquing behind-the-scene story. Its fascinating to read whats going on, and to follow the reasonings behind decisions.

Keep up the good work, and I know there are many people out there, including me, who are very interested in what Riya 2.0 (or whatever you will name it) will include!

Best wishes.
