Tara Hunt

So you might remember as I wrote here that we had hired Tara Hunt to be our main marketing and PR person. That was August. Today is Nov. I tend to get to know a person before I really blog about them. Tara is strong willed and strong minded and when she first came her and I argued... much the same way Azhar and I do. I liked that side of her a lot, but Tara was so un-traditional that many times I didn't even understand the method to her madness. She had a lot to learn about the valley and the startup biz... but she went up that curve faster than anyone I know.

However after 3 months she has been an un-mitigated success at doing exactly what we hired her to do and exactly what she said she would do. She works tirelessly. Today we have 5000 alpha requests and good aware almost solely because of Tara. In addition, she with Shel encouraged me to blog. In addition, her online marketing and design skills are just amazing. I usually love her designs on day one (which is very rare for me).

Tara you rock... this was a while in coming ... but well deserved.

Actally, for wholly differing reasons that have nothing to do with Web 2.0 voodoo and Shel-influenced mind-altering blog-drugs -- I agree, Tara rocks. Funny tho, that you left her outta the Google loop. ;)
