Seeing is hearing
Man has it been a crazy week since I last posted. We started user testing in the office and have had almost 8 different people use the product with a video camera capturing the feedback. Tara has been great and jumped in to help and give me the distance I need to process the input. Frankly hearing the feedback was just too personal for me. When I build a product like this one it is an extension of myself. When I was at Andale (the last company I co-founded) people told me there was an issue with the product, I always felt that I let them down. When they told me they loved it I was elated. I realized that this was good an bad. I've learned that the best way for me to get input is to get it offline so I can play it over and over again until I can really "hear" what is being said (once my initial emotions go away). Video tape is a great tool for this (so btw is getting 10 emails on the subject ;-).
We are incorporating this feedback into our RC3 release. So we continue to work away...

Doolingo would be interested in an alpha copy of your latest and greatest, Munjal! What's more, I'd be happy to bring my vast experience of technology testing (remember that?) to your assistance FOC! This product looks like a good candidate for TNBT..

Dooling! -It has been a long time. How are you? I still remember that weekend I spent with you in England with taking your kids to that skiing practice... Many that was almost a decade ago.
